#MultifacetedMonday Paul Coker Jr., who did the character designs for the 1969 Rankin-Bass “Frosty the Snowman”, is also a frequent contributor to MAD. His most famous feature is “Horrifying Cliches”, depicting overused phrases made literal through comically grotesque monsters.
A riot of color characterizes this marbled paper book cover. We love the repetition of the large swirls and the flecks of orange that offset the base colors.

#MultifacetedMondays Surprisingly, #GreenEggsandHam is the first major voice acting role for Michael Douglas, who voices Guy Am I. The prolific Oscar winner's two previous cartoon appearances were guest stints on "Liberty's Kids" (as Patrick Henry) and "Phineas and Ferb".
