They may be flightless, but they're hella fly. These penguins live their life sliding on the ice and boasting a chill attitude to match the weather. That is, until you knock their shades off, after which they panic and slow down to look for them. Not cool.

Ratitan is simply a combination of "Ratite" the family of birds that includes Ostriches, Emus, and Elephant birds(Among others) and "Titan".

Ratitan is based on Vorombe, a giant species of extinct flightless bird endemic to Madagascar.

Elephant birds are members of the extinct Aepyornithidae, enormous (& awesome!) flightless birds that once lived on the island of Madagascar. They became extinct ~1000–1200 AD, probably as a result of human activity.

Big boy dragon. This guy is flightless, but uses his wings as heat panels. The dorsal sides of these wings are dark, to maximize heat absorption. When hunting, this dragon tucks its wings close to its body.

Prunis'ca, current A'triarch of Clan Rubusew, stares down upon themself. Discontented with their heft. Or rather the lack thereof. Most who achieve that envied position are rendered flightless within a few months...
