Finished up this latest detailed doodle I think. Again I tried to bring in some Celtic influences.

Thanks in advance for viewing my work. Any feedback welcomed and appreciated.

Ilworld has many different influences but when it comes to anime, the ones that inspired it most are:
Berserk
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Serial Experiments Lain
Ergo Proxy
Readers may have trouble seeing the influences. I think the influence of Berserk is most apparent. https://t.co/4990TDLlP3

Japanese illustrator Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy, Vampire Hunter D) is one of my biggest influences.

YES! It's incredible looking at how every style is a collection of influences. I dont think looks at my stuff & thinks Corto Maltese but its one of my fave storytellers inspirations so it feels imprinted in mine too!

(Charles Burns, Hugo Pratt, Julie Doucet, & Brian Stelfreeze)

When I was younger around 2009-2010, by biggest inspiration for this guy was the spectacular spider-man cartoon and, surprisingly, wordgirl. Now the MCU, My Hero Academia and Invincible are some of my biggest influences. I guess he was created out of love for superheroes media

Genndy Tartakovsky is definitely one of the big influences. I grew up watching Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack. I just love how how he drew expressions and action. His work was a major part of my childhood.

Nakamura Asumiko. I think she's only second to Takemiya when it comes to my influences. It's the the hair, expressions and the atmosphere of her art that has really inspired me.

11.) Hiromu Arakawa

Literally one of my first ever influences. FMA had a GIANT effect on me

Copying the SNES manual art of FF3 and later on his designs from Vampire Hunter D, the works of Yoshitaka Amano are probably my first serious influences. His fashion choices go so hard. I'll still add jewelry and certain flourishes directly because of him.
