For this new retopo, I'm making fur tufts totally separate from the body mesh. Shadows aren't perfect yet, but getting close!

This is nice because it lets me use 1 body and customize fur later.

Update on the character model. High poly is pretty much complete, I threw on some poly-paint just for fun. Next stage is retopo :)

As an artist collaborating with other artists, I've had to learn to let go of concepts that are far too niche to sell well enough for the team to benefit. I may retopologize this wasp head and turn it into a hunt reward for The Guild event in October.🐝

Another update and now in color! Still many details left and I have been retopo-ing the armor in order to clean it up (it was really messy).
I wont add any folds or heavy details until I manage to finish it in a good clean way.

Been a month, so here's progress on the Siggy model. Most of the base sculpt is nearly done (had to redo the wings twice). Just finished the painful process of retopology which took so much time because of the mountain of mistakes I made from the sculpting and initial retopo.

Still need to retopo and do detail work on a large amount of it, want to completely redo the boots too.

Been working on commissions a lot, haven't had much time for this.
