is one of the most famous fossil creatures ever. Despite having teeth, claws, and a tail like other theropod dinosaurs it would have looked like a weird little bird.

very well known by now… but we should always remember that modern birds are the direct descendants of theropods and can technically still be called dinosaurs. Also corvids are amazing!
Congrats and thank you for the chance ✨

Dino Fact!

Torvosaurus (Savage Lizard) is a megalosaurid from Late Jurassic Europe and North America! At an average size of 9 meters long, with some specimens reaching near 11 meters, it's one of the largest known theropods of the Jurassic- (1/3)

And and to go with it, two dinosaurs that illustrate how similar the earliest theropods and sauropodomorphs were. So much so that they've both flip-flopped all around in different positions in the saurischia family tree!

Herrerasaurus ischigualastensis is one of the most basal taxonomical “dinosaurs,” marking a distinct shift in archosaurs away from crocodilians. It’s feet are notable for being some of the first examples of the “typical theropod” structure, standing on their tip toes.

Just noticed this. The new theropod in Primal season 2 has a bump on its forehead, a very distinct one.

Might have a Rajasaurus or sometype of stylized Majungasaur
