As always, I want to remind everyone how good The Owl House is. It carries the spirit of Gravity Falls, yet holds its own as a freaky yet fantastic show. It also broke barriers with Disney as it promotes LGBTQ+ representation and self-acceptance.

My main media is watercolor/mixed media on paper but I also work with acrylic. My art is a form of shadow work where we dive deep into our unspoken darkness and make peace with ourselves for full self-acceptance. :)

Daily Reminder:

Sometimes what you need isn't positivity, it's acceptance. Accepting that you will make mistakes, you will fail, everything isn't going to be perfect and that's okay. Accept, Get up and keep going 🌻

Some exploratory sketches for the visual develpment project I'm working on from a beautiful and sad story from Hans Cristian Andersen, Story of a Mother.. a very delicated fairy tale about grief and acceptance. A mother who goes to the ends of the world to have her sun back.
