I was drawing a page and got stuck on a panel. So I stepped away and drew MC Grook. After that random doodle I then pumped out that panel that was giving me trouble. Don't try to force art, let that shit flow.

Serpent🐉🐍
I adore this design. I didn't know how this would turn out, so I just went with the flow. I guess he could be related to Talon..?😁

I really like this Luffy I drew! It was such a smooth process, it felt like I could tap into my future self's workflow.

Hey man! I need to know about your workflow. Do you outline 3D models in a program and then use the light casting as a reference? Or instead, do you sketch a line-art paint greytones and use your own light source from mind?
If its the latter, how do you do it?

First attempt at character modeling. Still trying to get my head around managing topo and getting good edge flow. Also hands are hard.

I first start in my 3D application and start with a simple cube without subds and start extruding it down, blocking roughly the hair curves and adding loops to improve the flow. Then I import to Zbrush for refining.
Some extra tips with colorful screenshots, hope it's helpful! 💖

"Many have gazed upon Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night in wonder. But if you’re a scientist, those famous spirals – all of varying sizes – in the painted sky might remind you instead of turbulent flow." https://t.co/V7fLbmXGeq
