I think the best way for artist to do something this panel arrangement is to flip it. The larger panel should be on the left, while the smaller ones come after. This creates a much smoother flow.

I was drawing a page and got stuck on a panel. So I stepped away and drew MC Grook. After that random doodle I then pumped out that panel that was giving me trouble. Don't try to force art, let that shit flow.

Hey man! I need to know about your workflow. Do you outline 3D models in a program and then use the light casting as a reference? Or instead, do you sketch a line-art paint greytones and use your own light source from mind?
If its the latter, how do you do it?

I first start in my 3D application and start with a simple cube without subds and start extruding it down, blocking roughly the hair curves and adding loops to improve the flow. Then I import to Zbrush for refining.
