A WIP of *HD* Viera ears I'm making for myself.

Particle hair in Blender. I removed most of the "fluff" geometry from fViera ears 1, converted it to quads. SubD a bit. Added a little bevel on the edges because those things came to such a point sharper than a knife! -

was hoping i could edit a bunch of low poly 3D people I got to add colors and basic outfit geometry, but it was proving too much of a pain in the ass.

so i tried using the models as a ref to trace over and cut them out on 2D planes in blender to get an outline

stress-testing new GPU instancing by drawing randomly generated scenes with a previously unthinkable amount of geometry (~560k triangles!!!), and fps is holding strong!

no spheres pictured -- these are all flat surfaces

Today is a triple feature!
In this house, we love our Autoscroll rhythm platformers!
From Left to Right we have Geometry Dash, Bit.Trip.Runner, and HarmoKnight!
(Mad Rat Dead would've made the list, but it isn't an autoscroller. Still a good game though.)

this is kind of fun: algorithm sorting gif. you can see that it establishes the geometry quite quickly and then doesn't much know what to do, lol. it also devoted a huge percentage of its triangles to making the central black circle.
