As much as HTML for text formatting is intuitive, I still despise using it because I've used rich text editors 90% of my life.
But I guess in Homestuck fics you can't really escape it. It also doesn't help when you have characters with messy typing quirks 😬

Because when I don't create, I feel shit, like my system is missing something vital. Otherwise it's both frustrating and exhilarating & when someone gets the exact thing you were going for without giving any hint, it's just an awesome piece of intuitive language you've created.
