I was thinking about why SF Mega Man was named Geo Stelar outside of Japan. I initially assumed it was just "Earth and stars" to reference the space themes, but then I realized Geo is another way of making his name "Rock"
The localizers made his name "Rock Star", and I love it.

I'll say, the pros of the Fates localization faaaar outweigh the cons. From changing problematic supports, removing creepy features like face petting, to sometimes just better sounding dialogue in general. Even the name changes were sometimes for the better (Niles, Jakob, Azura).
Our new #Webcomic chapter is out and this one is really funny. I had a lot of fun localizing these.
