9. Trails to Azure

Another RPG with some pacing issues, but when the story gets good, it gets good and STAYS good for a LONG time. I learned to appreciate the setup. These old Trails games have such amazing worldbuilding and Azure managed to make fantasy politics INTERESTING!

i was talking about tower of god earlier and it reminded me that it’s easily one of the most enjoyable reading experiences i’ve ever had. while i don’t think any characters are insanely good (YET), the lore/worldbuilding/plot is so incredible that it doesn’t bother me at all.
