1607年の今日、江戸城で出雲阿国(いずものおくに)が徳川家康や諸国の大名の前で初めて「かぶき踊り」を披露しました。

かぶき踊りがだんだんと変化をして、現在の歌舞伎が出来上がったとされています。

よく「かぶく」と言いますがこれは
身形（みなり）や言動の風変わりな人

1607年(慶長12年) が江戸城で初めて 踊りを披露した日
は日本に伝えられたキリスト教（#イエズス会）の演劇を見た阿国が影響を受けて始めたという説があります。#歌舞伎図巻 には十字架を下げて踊る阿国の従者が描かれています。
