Process of my Daydream piece
NGL i was planning on dropping this project b/c for the first few days working on it, i had zero motivation and couldn't think of anything cool. But after experimenting with the MMD + gradient maps, it def one of my favs now.
A little moth I drew a few days ago 👁👁 did in greyscale then tried gradient maps, might just do more moths/butterflies like this later, it was fun to mindlessly design and doodleeeeeeee #moth #digitalart

The model is based on HD Hero Sonic,
It can be created with just a few simple Matcapt maps.
I used multiple layers of nested models to restore accurate edge light,
And i adjusted the face orientation of the edge light and customized the normal direction.
