I'm opening up emergency commissions because paying unexpected extra tuition this month left me with not enough to afford rent next month.

I'll be doing pixel icons in either: style 1(dithering shading) or style 2(block shading) at $50 an icon.

With a lot of Speccy stuff the art-style ends up kinda like colourised monochrome. 🤔 But the nice thing with the Speccy was that dithering effects were clear on the TV's of the day. With the C64, alternating on/off high-res pixels often made for strange moiré/colour effects. 🤓

Oh that's what this thing is!
Yeah, this looks great. It doesn't seem to like dithering that much, but I don't know how you would solve that.
Though I like my results, I think this tool works best for pixelart with a larger color palette

It doesn't seem to like dithering all to much and non45° diagonal lines can become a bit wobbly. Though it is really cool regardless

One approach to get a lot of mileage from limited palettes like the palette is to make mini-palettes for each sprite, so that if you half-close your eyes, color blobs are distinct from background. It's like blending/ dithering, just not ordered ▒
