Artweeks exhibition starts today! New vibrant and experimental works on show as well as prints & cards. St Mary’s Church, Charlbury. Venue 414. There are 18 artist in total in the town. On until 29th May.

A close friend of Henry V, in 1413 Oldcastle was convicted of heresy but was able to evade execution for 4 years.

In fact, the paintings in Veronica are probably the toughest to ID, but and I found a few. For instance, old Thomas Ashford here is based on a portrait of Edgar Degas that was modified and combined with rusted metal (same for the other Ashfords).
