Now that I've been through the whole thing, I can see what a friend of mine meant when they expressed their disappointment about this one. The parser is smart, but there are a lot of illogical puzzles.. And the story feels a bit like a grab-bag of elements.

i have lots planned for the battle system, it's gonna be a top-down real-time fighter with an extensive monster catalog. each party member has a skill item (like cirro's lasso) they can use for fights as well as puzzles. also... epic boss fights 😏

I am V bad at figuring out puzzles. Brain no work like that. Honestly, I've never played a highly intelligent character. It might be fun to at some point to get out of my comfort zone.

What's really REALLY interesting about Goof Troop is it's a non-linear game.

You have to find keys, items, solve puzzles. This is the natural evolution of an arcade formula. And it works really good, actually.
