A follow up to the bookshelf I posted. Left image is before I chose a custom palette and did a little colour bridging.

Meant to post these yesterday. Here are more promo illustration variations for my game Nix Day that went along with the other animated/still versions from yesterday.

Experimenting with AI-generated PS1 game covers.

Somehow they make me nostalgic.

Actually! Hold on! Update of THE UPDATE, believe me, those actually matter for Erika and her character, she is someone that you just want to hug and say that everything will be ok

After a lot of interior debate, I decided to update Erika's bust, is something minor, however important to her character and arch throughout the game

I tend to use the dae exporter since I had trouble with the regular gltf (even updated it for blender 3.0), and with that and a palette export, here we are in the game!

Finally a break from work after nearly 2 months! Anyway, here have a comparison of old and new Erika and Akane... (in this older version they started as friends... how weird...)

Still really proud of this foggy mountain area, sharing it again. Also want to ask a question. I’m curious to know what kind of areas/environments you like to see in adventure/platformer games. You got any favorites?

This rig is also used for the other variations. I'll add actual models and bones for their behaviour later, allowing for some reuse (core model, hitstun anim...)

Updates! https://t.co/55krsLHBvJ
