I have two loves in making fangames; mapping and creating flavor text so the world doesn't feel empty. It's not that common to have a lot, if any flavor text in fangames i find, but i really enjoy it. Of the 50 events in this map, 46 are flavor text. 😅

The effect uses four surfaces in total: normal, monochrome depthmap, and a 2-pass blur. The final image is mixed together using the depthmap brightness (more white means more percent of the blurred surface).
