Twisted Metal had a big impact on me as a kid. I often drew weird vehicles like this! (not as good of course) Maybe a mixture of Interstate Drifter & car combat can work.. I could make some car sprites, just for fun!

I don't think it's an overstatement to say that reading Aatmaja's comic Travelogue is what first inspired me to make comics. There's a poetic, thoughtful air that I'd never seen in an adventure story, and it made a huge impression on me. (plus Nana is such a joy!!<3)
