It's a two-step process: I want the objects to not collide and I also want to create a key so that the pieces hold well together.
As you see in the pic, the torso would intersect with the clothes, and then I would need a key.

6.Character Creation Process: Often I have an idea for a story first. The character's personality sort of begins to come through after some work at it (sometimes this takes time). Then I have to draw them 3-4 times before I nail down the design. Sounds simple, is actually chaos.
