Quick sketch/speed paint of the weird Pleistocene South American liptoptern: Macrauchenia. Usually reconstructed with a trunk, this was most likely not present as the front of the snout is completely covered by bone (unlike in trunked animals)

Just letting you know that T.rex reconstruction is outdated. It probably didn’t have feathers. Many dinosaurs did have feathers but that doesn’t make them lame. The cassowary would beg to differ. Also these are terrifying af so please stop saying “feathered dinos aren’t scary”

This is one piece back from 2016, reconstruction of an irish elk, Megaloceros giganteus, surrounded by a group of snow buntings (Plectrophenax nivalis). Megaloceros lived in Eurasia between late Pliocene and late Pleistocene, becoming extinct shortly after the last ice age.
