If idols aren’t your thing, play the Trails & Ys series of JRPGs! Trails is lauded for its excellent world building, music, and gameplay while Ys is renowned for its fast gameplay and intense music! Either way you go they’re both great game series, and all Falcom games are great!

I don't have anything new to show for it but Xenoblade Chronicles 2 plus it's DLC has been one of the most enjoyable experiences for me on the Nintendo Switch and I HIGHLY recommend y'all check it out if you're a fan of JRPGs! Gripping story and just..just the best characters 💚

Not sure if it's obscure.. but I don't hear about it from other ppl at all. Thousand Arms was among the first Jrpgs I finished and it was really really good. It had an amazing battle system with some really cool sprites and upgrades. It also had dating sim elements!

Romancing SaGa 3 is a classic, this game was a million seller despite being sold only in Japan. Not only that but it was one of the few JRPGs to be fully designed by a woman: Tomomi Kobayashi.
