I wanted to practice drawing goofy characters, rather than the usual cute ones, and decided on Feels again! I really like how flexible his design is, he's practically a mesh of Sonic and Oswald, which works super well!

Finally found a way to turn the super high poly hair mesh into a mid poly while keeping the same, general shape of it. For the high poly model, I can bake the details of the hp mesh into the lp mesh, while I'll just give the non-baked lp mesh to this model, lol.

the trick for really selling this as kinda transparent without actually using transparency is that there's an outline mesh set to a desaturated color that kinda matches the background and setting its dissolve at a slight offset, like some very unusual form of antialiasing

ok so i need help here, i duplicated the mesh of one character to make a new character out of it and when i update the textures they get updated on the old mesh as well. how do i fix this

Ported over to the Mesh+Armature of Samul by JulienDesroy & . Cleaned out all the mess that comes from Maya>Blender. There is still more cleanup to do but overall things render right & bones work in pose mode. Future IK Stuff😋

I did an art for the art competition! I tried to think of a clever London reference, but didn't get much further than "well... it rains quite a lot?".

Masterful use of the mesh tool to warp the logo around his pecs, though. 😎
