Prey

Ok so this is easily one of the best Predator films. The original is hard to beat of course but this one does a damn fine job at trying to compete for that spot in my book. The pacing is great, and the casting is phenomenal. 9/10

Cabbits were popular in the 90s right... Haha, I was actually reading about how rabbits don't have pawpads but predators like cats do to they can move soundlessly on their prey. So I just really wanted to put a cat in a weird rabbit body.

Trachtenberg's 'Prey' is the best Predator movie since 1990's 'Predator 2.' There are some interesting ideas & the Predator himself is rather cool. The story is a gender-swapped rehash of the OG '87 film with heavy feminist & political undertones. Middle of the road.

The final scenes are pretty brilliant & point to the bigger picture that the creative team had for this story. It is reminiscent of PREDATOR with a bit of THE MATRIX thrown in and it kind of makes everything that precedes it even more awesome. Once again, small budget, big balls!
