I totally agree! The small handful of games that have an authentic Ghibli feeling tend to have a direct line to Ghibli (Ni No Kuni, Jade Cocoon, Magic Pengel). Most games that get compared to Ghibli often fall short though. The influence often feels superficial when pointed out!
