So there is Ace (Just the scarf and it covers the beak), and there is Jace's Penguin form (with jacket, beak not covered) and the colours and eyes are a bit different between them. Ace is probably easier to do XD

NiGHTS has a surprised face in the Saturn version of NiD. In-game, this face's mouth is completely black. However, the texture is actually designed to use a different color for the tongue. Using colors matching one of NiD's hints, I tried to reconstruct how it was meant to look.

Here's a wip frame from episode 4! I updated Ace's design a little bit so he now has these angular eyes instead of the round eyes like before. I really think his new eyes convey his personality better!
