I am thinking about unleashing a vampire on a zombie dragon on the "Inglorious Basterds" mercenary company. The whole gist is that she's controlling the undead dust goblins in the Atalan Mountains and is pissed that some puny mortals are disturbing her chill. 😄

I need to create the statline and skill set for Dust Goblins. I want them to be fast and agile, good with a blowpipe and decent at organising ambushes. I don't want to overdo them, though. They're not supposed to be the final threat of this scenario.

Rituals in were always kinda iffy, at least in 2nd edition. We've been playing this game for 12 years now, and I think my players only performed a ritual, like, once. Maybe twice. Probably because the "good" ones are less useful than their evil counterparts.

The necromantic magic in "Night's Dark Masters" is pretty medicore, especially when it comes to offensive spells. Gaze of Nagash i nice, and I like the ritual to summon a ship of the dead, but overall the arcane arts are the only part of this book, that is weak.

One of my favorite sessions ever was sicking a zombie dragon-riding necromancer on my players. The entire thing was GMed with almost no dice rolling, and mainly depended on my players' decisions. In the end they blew her up with a left-over Skaven warpfire tank.
