プロトゼノンの制作には3Dスキャナも活用した。
ベースモデルを作成し、それに合わせてパーツを制作している。スキャンデータは現状完璧な物にはなり得ないが、スケールは1/1で取れるので寸法合わせにはかなり役に立つ。

非CAD系のソフトであるblenderでもこういった精密な物が作れるといういい勉強になった。最初に極力角度がつかないように撮影した写真を配置してモデリングしてから、あとで寸法を細かく調整する方法を取った。
