the way his arms and legs are bent overall, they adhere to the elbow and knee joints too rigidly i feel. if they rounded the joints more like in the adventure/06 era, i believe it could do a lot to make posing smoother. (3/4)

it isn't affected by normals as i personally prefer smoother lighting for things like this, but it's possible to achieve the same with normals by doing a cross product

@ItsArtNegative Depending on the stylisation you want, you can do sharp shadow like this, or smoother one.
Sharp shadow is easier to master. Cause you can easily set the object volume.
I like to do terminator, with two level of shadow and one or two level of light, with a melange of sharp/smooth

When I first started using (rather, learning) this style in 2020, I had used the thick oil paint included when you first download CSP. It gives a bit more of a smoother look!
Idk why I feel like something about the lineart is off. I want to use more smoother and soft brushes but I just don’t know where to find any. Don’t plan on finishing this cause I gave up :)
While the X86k port runs a tad smoother, adds a couple small options, and adds both new music & opening cinematics, the PC-98 original's just as playable, more so if you want to use text hooking for reading or machine translation
It's also unlikely the game did very well on X68k

to be honest with you idk which version i prefer 🤧 cv sounds a bit clearer to me while vcv is smoother but gets more engine noise somehow
