A single tree grows at the edge of a cliff face against the hard blue sky at Sandstone Bluff Overlook in El Malpais National Monument. The gusts of wind were terrific here, the ravens enjoyed playing in the winds and the snow, sometimes snowball-like chunks, would fly upwards.
