Highly doubt I'll finish this one since I gotta work on my bigger projects, and unfortunately none of them are (alt-) Sikh based like pic related.

huh! just found out its been #southasianheritagemonth - I'm 2nd gen Punjabi Sikh. Music is pretty integral to Sikhism - whilst I can only speak/understand English, I've always loved kirtans and am often listening to them whilst drawing the pieces in my illustrated haiku world
@dark___entries Aw you deleted the tweet.
The first pic is a selfie of me. Other pic of the alt-Sikh woman is from 2017 & it was my first time in a long time drawing a woman, but I did fuck up the feet, the corpses under her compensate. Here's something recent, and for an actual just cause:
"Khalistan's Venom" (2020)
Done in MS Paint early 2020. A Khalistani #Sikh female pre and post-battlefield carnage.
Mainly just practice drawing (older?) women.

The Dasam Granth actually had quite a central place in Sikh practice. Historically, its parkash was even done side-by-side with the Guru Granth Sahib (although with a smaller palanquin, to denote it wasn't the Guru). This was phased out by reformists (other than Hazur Sahib). https://t.co/j1P1V8MzbV
