John Ferguson Weir (Aug 28, 1841–Apr 26, 1926) was an American painter, sculptor, writer, & educator. He was a son of painter Robert Walter Weir, long-time professor of drawing at the Military Academy at West Point.

Congratulations to former Scotland rugby international Doddie Weir who has today received an OBE from the Queen for services to rugby, MND research and the Borders community.
