That could be, but X is a Dr. Light design and Dr. Light's robots were able to do the same. putting two and two together would hint X can also do it.

Zero is another case since he isn't a design by Light and we never see any Wily robots put on or take off armor.

I know that this is adapted from the og cheerleader armors which mostly had plain arm n leg like the first pic (below). Imo, having the arm n leg shaded like the 2nd pic will make it looks better without losing any og vibe of the armor. Everything else is great, I'm so excited!
