I want to say that it was awesome to experience a graphic adventure with all this Bob Stevenson art. But so many of the illustrated locations are rocks, caves, and tunnels. It feels like a bit of a wasted opportunity, unless you enjoy showing-off the C64's greys and browns. 😋

Despite its lower-resolution graphics, the C64 version of Magnetic Strolls "The Pawn" is still my preferred version. 🤔 I mean, a graphic adventure with graphics by Bob Stevenson? How could that not be great, right? 😁

I'm now opening chiptune commissions!

$100 per minute for originals, $80 per minute for covers.

I can do a wide variety of soundchips, including NES, Master System, ZX Spectrum, C64, Atari ST, TurboGraphx, and N64. The only thing I won't do is FM.

Please DM for details!

The Amiga version was alright too.
It certainly looks pretty .. but after going back and forth between that and the C64 version, the Amiga one feels just a little bit slow. 😐 (Lots of WHDLoad-install options to speed the whole thing up though.) 😁

Here is the other amazing Isometric game, the detail in these games is unmatched, day and night cycles, all the NPC have routines, multiple ways to escape, classic

There was nothing quite like sitting by a warm CRT and listening to Christmas music back in the 8-bit days!

I find these disks very nostalgic. Plus, I don't feel I've been bombarded with Xmas music this year so they are especially nice this year.

I'm gonna be the grumpy old man, saying there's nothing like the C64 version. 😋 (Maybe everything is better with SID-music?) 😁

Where Time Stood Still, I still can't get over how good this game is, what a cracker, and that Boxart😍

Took an old 'SGM' pic, ran it through 'Multipaint' and then added it to 'Brown Trout & Goblins' using 'Ozmoo Online' to produce a working C64 version ... well impressed, but then I am easily pleased ... 😉

Fun task today - wrote a basic photo to palette conversion tool 'partypal'. Should be useful as a starting point when making front-end screens. Here's the output using the EGA palette (and for fun, C64 and CGA as well).
