If they say their characters have weapons or important accessories (again, you know DnD players), they should provide you with references. And you should feel ok by adding an extra charge per weapon, those things are hard to draw. Also they will try to make you draw a million.

Now the friend (now ex-friend) who was the main contact, had me redraw the effing "ruby hair" on her character a dozen times. It's not ruby colored, it was literal ruby, but also a braid, and no, she had no references. She only knew what didn't work.
