First up is an update to a piece from almost two years ago. Redid these classic of Mega Man? and Bond Man. Gave Mega Man a darker palette and fixed Bond Man's glue tubes and the colouration of the sprite to fix his layers. Looks much better now!

I use blending layers. For shading, I usually find a color, based on the color of the lighting in the environment I’m drawing them in, shade, then set that layer to multiply and adjust the opacity accordingly. Same with lighting effects but set to glow or overlay
