I must admit I have far too much fun adding gradients to NodeMaterial editor for #babylonjs. Not sure why...Must chat with @PatrickCRyan about that ;)
Ooof my fave design??? That's also something I can't pick LOL. But heres some of my faves! Sebastian's is really simple but that's one of reasons I love it-- Aelius' is a bit more complicated but I absolutely LIVE for gradients.
@nonykins Personally I find it really helpful to treat it like shading in color. Draw outlines with color, and then round out the forms in gradients, them start to mix them if you want smoother, with fewer brush strokes showing. That's kind of how I did it in this painting.
i finally got off my ass and made micah's pixel. main reasons i put it back were: i didn't have my base on me whenever i wanted to pixel and also they have TOO many gradients
#4styles Man this challenge is hard. What even constitutes a style lol
Anyways here are 4 different levels of detail I usually do, I guess? Most of my stuff usually gradients between the last two, but I'll pull out doodle styles on occasion 👌
Uhhh #4styles ? It usually just ranges from cell shading to some gradients, to more rendering.
Testing out some freeform gradients in @Illustrator for some new @Winter_Class graphics and hot damn...🔥
Byakuya from #unist for @cherie_soe ! Your vatista was so cute and got a lot of love and i'm happy to see it, hope you enjoy!
Gradients 😍
I'll admit; I'm very proud of this drawing. This is a sergal sona that I made today, and I think it's pretty close to what I want. Found out how to line better (brush flow is now set to 100%), tested gradients with the eye, and got more practice with fur and shadows :D
Further style exploration, gradients are hard but I like it :)

Study of Durango. I'm really enjoyed painting only with shapes and gradients for this one.
235/365 today’s 365 is me just experimenting with colors. I don’t really like this particular result BUT i do like the direction and want to experiment with it a little more. Basically I am playing around with lighting and gradients. What do you guys thi… https://t.co/0XUw0DAgap
