Version 1.0 of the Nintendo AGB Aging Cartridge has finally been preserved! These were used within the factory checking process as well as within Nintendo authorized repair centers, and were designed to ensure correct operation of all units coming in for repair!
We've preserved a near final prototype of Pop’n TwinBee: Rainbow Bell Adventures, developed by Konami for the SNES. Unfortunately, being a PAL prototype, differences are absolutely minimal. (A single byte difference at 0x7FBF). Thanks to Voodooween for sending this in!

We've preserved another SNES test cartridge! This time around it's Super Famicom Aging Ver 1.00, it was used within Nintendo’s Uji factory during the manufacturing of the Super Famicom and has quite a few differences within the graphics shown when compared to later versions.
We've preserved a localization prototype for the SNES classic, Harvest Moon! Something noticeable right off the bat is that the logo used on the titlescreen is much simpler when compared to the more stylized version from the retail game.
Being a localization prototype, many debugging options are available, making going through the game a breeze! Mario is able to walk anywhere, have unlimited power-ups, and much more! In addition to that, there are plenty of small graphical and text changes compared to the retail.
We've preserved a total of eight prototype builds for various Japan-only games developed by Nippon Columbia for the Nintendo 3DS! Titles include: Pikapikanasu Monogatari (x2), My Melody (x2), Cake-ya San (x2), Thomas ABC, and an update for Sumikko Gurashi o Mise Hajimerun Desu.
We've preserved three cancelled Nintendo Game Boy Advance games from Rival Dreams, a short-lived studio created by three employees at Acclaim! The titles are Sea Boy, Dark Eden, and even a (albeit very unfinished) port of Demon's Crest which was pitched to Capcom!
Also discovered in the files was "emiclock", a simple freeware clock designed by Motosoft. The website for this application is surprisingly still around: https://t.co/uFqOQm3h4B
We've preserved an early prototype of My Melody - Negai ga Kanau Fushigi na Hako for the Nintendo 3DS, developed by Nippon Columbia and Saniro. It contains many differences including a full debug menu as well as placeholder assets! Many thanks to Haifisch for sending this in!
