Hmm... I guess lowering the saturation and tweaking light/dark contrast could work. Doesn't look terrible.
But... are printers really having trouble? I've seen some pretty saturated posters before, particularly from anime, so I would think it has to be possible somehow.

first you have to align your printer
1. press the print button. make sure your paper tray is loaded.
2. place the printed paper on your scanner as per alignment instructions
3. press “Align Printer” on your desktop device.
4. congratulations your printer is now aligned!

I decided to print out one of 's and color it with my markers!

This was SO much fun! The printer I used was a little low on ink, so I had to fill in some of the lines myself. Hope I didn't ruin it lol!
