@Scholastic @fangmous I love the Branches books! I pre-ordered this! I'm excited about all of next week's releases arriving at my door!
These strange forests spread along fractal pathways. Viewed from above, they form branching spirals whose branches again create smaller spirals in turn. Others are star-shaped or circular, surrounded by additional circles on all sides.

Last night I dreamt up this twisty demon dude made of wood with sticks and branches coming out of his mouth, he can control trees around him and twists to move around n stuff— I wanted to draw what he looked like in the dream! :O

#FolkloreThursday An old Polish tale tells of a mother cat crying at a river bank as her kittens were drowning. A willow tree at the river’s edge swept its long branches into the water & rescued them. Now at springtime the willow sprouts tiny furry buds where the kittens clung.
2a. Dialectica’ from a set of the Seven Liberal Arts, by Pencz, c.1541. The arts and branches of science representing the classical ideal of education were divided into two groups: grammar, dialectic & rhetoric and arithmetic, music, geometry & ‘astronomy’ (rather, astrology)..
A new #conceptart for today! Here is Elder of Branches. You can forget about time on Louisiana swamps. But you should remember that you can grow into a tree if you forget about it for long.

Boab trees are cool. They have such a distinct shape due to how they absorb and store water. This aspect inspired this Grass/Water type #fakemon and I like to imagine it would spray water from its branches like sprinklers and cheeks and belly pouch.

The tree is four branches that come together and grow together.
I want to go step by step under your cherry tree, try to be a kind and nice person like you, and then meet at that position 💗
Just as Apollo was about to catch Daphne, she was transformed into a laurel tree, with her toes stretching down into the ground as roots and her fingers turning into branches and sprouting leaves.

Because of Sonic and Animal Crossing, I’ve been wanting to expand my art into something that branches out to all characters instead of just humans. So I wanted to try animal people ^^ I find those drawings beautiful and cute, like my new deer OC!

It was the biggest tree Jon Snow had ever seen, the trunk 8 ft wide, branches spreading so far the entire village was beneath their canopy.
“An old tree.” Mormont said, frowning. “Old,” his raven agreed from his shoulder. “Old, old, old.”
“And powerful.” Jon could feel the power.
Veitch, Moir & Erskine wholesale fruit merchants, c1925 - we’re not sure where the photo is taken but we know in 1911 they had premises at Market Street and Constitution Place as well as branches in Aberdeen, Perth and Dumfries. https://t.co/MorLZf4Fc8 #throwbackthursday
Today's first fun fact! Algebra, one of the many branches of mathematics, draws its name from an Arabic word meaning "bonesetting," coined by the Persian mathematician al-Khwarizmi! Also, an earlier Latinization of his name is where the word "algorithm" is drawn from!
