I hate how I've been wanting to draw for weeks now but art block said no and I ended up not even getting halfway done tho managed to make vent art. Initially even failing at that, I added deeper tones and lower values and then voila! My MC that I very rarely draw😔🤷‍♀️

This b/w image was achieved by having a black filled layer (white or gray works too!) set to [Color] on top of the original image. Here the values make more sense as the leaves aren't as distinct and the b/w image feels as bright as the colored one.

I try my best to just stick to three values, keep it simple, and only elaborate to capture the main gist and/or specific elements of what I want or need.
