The important part is knowing how shadow works, i learned it by observing it on 3d basic shapes, simplified anatomy (that use basic shapes), planes of the head for head anatomy, etc.

I love hands but I struggle to draw arms lol! It's easy to connect once the hands are in the right spot but very funny.
