This was when I was experimenting with different brushes. He was called Obelisk, & was originally an archaeologist who found an empty coffin he got attached to. Then it began talking to him & he became a warlock who sees his patron as his best friend. Seems creepy, but is a goof.

One of the best horror films that gets missed, Tony Scott’s The Hunger boasts a brilliant cast & ‘80s gothic atmosphere that few others captured. Deneuve is amazing as the eternal & Sarandon is excellent as the tormented companion. Bowie + attic coffins 10/10

Hawthorn has always been the wood of choice for making stakes to drive into vampires, either arisen or buried. Stakes were pounded into graves so the undead would be impaled upon rising, & thorns were placed inside coffins, pinning the restless down.

still waffling on how to decorate my coffin tray... should I put wood finials on it and use it as a wall hanging or try my hand at pressed flowers in uv resin and keep its functionality as a tray? either way I'm probably putting the edging on and hanging it on a wall lol
