Dec 1780 Daniel Morgan wrote Thomas Sumter's followers from camp on the Pacolet River in SC regarding the lack of food supplies. Sumter refused to subjugate to Morgan in any way although Nathanael Greene issued orders that he was to do so. I'm certain Morgan wanted to slap Sumter
