Here he wanted a dirty painful fight. He sent me ref fighting scenes from Creed asking for that vibe. Inmediatly the way Corben narrates violence came to my mind… close shots, cropped frames, blood, looking more for a realistic unpleasant violence instead a beatiful coreography.

Completely agree. The 70's-80's were a great time for American fantasy. There was a kinetic almost spastic energy as these great illustrators threw off the bonds of tired 50's puritanism. Corben..1/4
