Sapphires are a much deeper color with specific noise distribution and much much more stark contrasted curvatures.

That and this screenshot doesn't really show the full manner of the new Frozen Dreams textures.

I used mostly a new technique for me: brushes combined with photo. Like I was painting with an image. This allowed for an obsessive repetition of certain pieces of the original photo, distorting it with different textures.
