What about Mitamamon? Since it lacks physical form... you could say that it has textures but it makes it's wireframe intangible until it recognizes someone or they are digimon in the brink of death?

For the scars and other "damage" that Digimon suffer in their wireframe, represented by the change of textures, that appearing is just "rule of cool" and a way of us understanding what happened.

If one would look inside of a Digimon, it nothing in rendered, then it would see nothing inside of it. The insides of a Digimon only exists if the wireframe in rendered from the inside, something that isn't always there.

So, the arts with Ofanimon face ? It's not really there at first. Behind the "texture of a mask" is simply the wireframe, after the mask is removed, a face is rendered so humans can understand the Digimon.
