Today is when we remember the fallen of conflict from to the present day. Among them Eric Ravilious, War Artist who was killed on active service in 1942, leaving behind a widow, Tirzah, & a young family. His work & legacy continues to inspire to this day.

Due to how much the horror of war and violence play into Kiritsugu’s wish for peaceful world I have always found it poetic that his birthday occurs on Armistice Day the day in which all military operations in WW1 came to an end and the soldiers could finally be at peace.
