Keeping the Malefor train going, I whipped up a young Malefor. History says at one point, Malefor was very much like Spyro. Kind, full of hope, and wanted to protect those who couldn't protect themselves. What went wrong... only Malefor knows.

An early story draft on would've revealed lineage in stages and build up the notion that his father was possibly Ignitus or Malefor. The concept was to re-occur across the three Legend games, but it didn’t pan out.

My personal headcanon is that TLoS actually IS the continuation of it - that Malefor is the reincarnation of the Sorcerer. The characters had quite a few similarities (especially the tail, horns, and shoulder spines), and the whole 'purple magic' theme
