I'm currently working on my long-term project Badass Kung Fu Demigods, which is a high-powered, animesque RPG, inspired by things like shonen anime, Exalted and xianxia fiction.

So and have been working on an amazing addon for driving shapekeys relative to camera angle, and I've had the honour of playtesting! Here's a comparison of my Ririka model with and without camera keys. Still experimenting, but I'm stoked with the results!

Two steering wheel designs later, I'm back to the original "twin bananas" for now but with a ring-shaped display. Orientation confusion was the biggest issue during playtesting last month, so I hope that and other animation changes will mitigate the issue. To be playtested...

i always feel like the character sprites in slarpg are so small when i'm working on them or playtesting the game, but in reality compared to the sprites in actual 16-bit jrpg's they're enormous
